Terms and conditions
You pay before each session, you can reschedule with notice, and you stay in control of your own accounts and decisions.
Draft. Highlighted items are still to be confirmed, and this page will be checked before Violet Audits goes live.
1. About us
Violet Audits is a trading name of Purplelf Limited (company number 11251864), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Mill Lane House, Mill Lane, Margate, CT9 1LB. Your Life Auditor is Craig Beck. Contact: hello@violetaudits.com.
2. What we provide
Practical help organising your life, small business or music admin, in three stages:
- Audit: a 60–90-minute consultation to agree your priorities and a short action plan.
- Action: guided, hands-on setup of the tools and routines we agree, up to 3 hours (2 hours for the Musician Audit).
- Achieve: a review about 30 days later, up to 1 hour (45 minutes for the Musician Audit).
Sessions are by video call on Zoom or Google Meet. A computer makes things easier, especially for the Action session, but everything can be done on a mobile device. In-person sessions are available at extra cost (see clause 4). We focus on 1–3 agreed improvements. Anything beyond that is quoted and agreed before we do it.
3. What we don't provide
Violet Audits is organisational support. It is not financial, tax, legal, medical or therapeutic advice. Where you need that, we'll suggest you speak to an accountant, solicitor or other qualified adviser.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown on our website at the time you book, and are for sessions by video call.
- Payment is taken when you book. A session is only confirmed once it's paid.
- Prepaid package: all three stages paid upfront, at about 10% less than paying for each stage separately.
- Pay as you go: each stage paid at its own price before that session is confirmed.
- In-person sessions: £60 per visit within our local area (Cheshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, south Manchester, north Shropshire and Wrexham). Further afield, travel is quoted in writing and paid before booking. [travel-time rate and international — to confirm]
- Extra Action time: £60 per hour, agreed in writing and paid before the work.
- Cloud storage, password managers, AI assistants or other apps you choose are paid by you directly to the provider.
5. Gift vouchers
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- They can't be exchanged for cash, but can be upgraded by paying the difference.
- In-person travel charges aren't included unless added at purchase.
- [Refunds on unused vouchers — to confirm]
6. Rescheduling and cancellations
- Audit and Achieve: give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule.
- Action: give at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule.
- You can reschedule each stage once free of charge.
- If you cancel with less notice, or don't attend, the session fee is not refunded. [Confirm: travel costs already paid out for in-person sessions are not refundable]
- If we need to cancel, we'll offer a new time or a full refund for that session.
7. Your right to cancel
If you book online, you have 14 days to change your mind and get a full refund. If you ask us to start a session within those 14 days, you'll pay for any session already delivered. Once all the sessions you paid for have been delivered, the right to cancel ends. Unused stages of a prepaid package are refunded at their pay-as-you-go price, minus sessions already delivered. [Confirm with your adviser]
8. Your responsibilities
- You stay in control of your own accounts, passwords, money and decisions.
- We never ask for your passwords or bank details. Please don't share them.
- Anything that can't be undone, such as deleting files or emails, is your decision and you do it yourself.
- Make sure important files are backed up before we tidy up together. We'll help you check.
9. Your Trello board and the 30-day exit
During the service you'll use a private Trello board that we set up for you. We'll help you build your own boards and move your results across. After your 30-day review, you'll be removed from our board. Everything you created on your own boards is yours to keep.
10. Our materials
Our boards, templates, guides and methods belong to Violet Audits. You may use them for your own personal or business use during and after the service. Please don't copy, share or sell them.
11. AI tools
AI summaries are optional and used only with your consent. Craig checks any AI output before relying on it. See our privacy notice.
If you choose to set up your own AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT), it's your own account with that provider, under their terms, and you decide what it connects to. AI can make mistakes; check its output before acting on it. We're not responsible for what a third-party AI service does or suggests.
12. Feedback and reviews
We may ask for feedback and a short review. Reviews are only published with your written permission, under the name you choose. Reviews from pilot clients who received the service free are labelled as such.
13. Our liability
We'll provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses caused by your own decisions, or by third-party apps and services you choose to use. Our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
14. Complaints
If you're unhappy, email hello@violetaudits.com and we'll reply within 14 days.
15. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version on our website when you book applies to your booking. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Last updated: [date].
